Giclée (zhee-clay) printing provides the
newest and most precise fine art reproduction available. Giclée is a
French word meaning “spraying of ink”. The Giclée process delivers ink
to the media closest to the original colors as possible. Prints can be
reproduced from transparency or directly from the original without
compromising any detail or color vibrancy. |

|
Dick Hancock Signature Series is available in Giclée Fine Art Prints.
These are unique, hand produced Giclée prints reproduced from the
original image on acid free, 100% cotton canvas using fine art pigmented
inks to obtain maximum stability. The pigmented inks have a fade
resistance of 80 years or more without color shift, depending on
lighting conditions. Fine Art Giclée Prints on canvas are treated with a
protective coating approved for Giclée prints. They are stretched and
can be framed if desired. Similar to any framed work of art, these
images should not be displayed in direct sunlight or near a direct
source of heat, such as a fireplace or heat register. Although they are
coated, Giclée prints should not come in contact with liquids. |

Giclée Fine Art Prints are produced by the Printing Division of Hancock
Enterprises, under strict guidelines and standards. |

These unique prints are manufactured on canvas, fine art textured paper
or other media, with archival inks, that display the vibrant "true"
color of the image. |
